Public quizzes you can take without an account
People publish the quizzes they build. You can open, search, take them and see your score without signing up. An account is only needed to save or copy.
AI comes with the account, no API key.
How to use it
Search by topic
Type a topic and the list filters as you go, by title and description, and you can sort it by newest, most viewed or most copied.
Take it without an account
Open the link and answer. Instant grading, the explanation on questions that have one, and a score at the end. With an account, you can ask for the missing ones.
Save it if it helps
Duplicating it into your account is what lets you change it: edit the questions, shuffle them or export it. On someone else's quiz those options aren't there. Taking it and adding it to your practice need no copy, just an account.
What it is good for
Seeing what it is like first
Take a whole quiz, then decide whether building your own is worth it.
Sharing with people who have no account
Send the link over WhatsApp or to your class group and anyone can practice with no friction.
Finding material for your course
If someone published something on your topic, you skip building it from scratch.
A starting point
Copy a public quiz and edit it instead of staring at a blank page.
How sharing works
A link and Explore are different things
Handing out the link doesn't put the quiz in Explore. Take it out of Explore and the link you shared keeps working, though addresses copied from Explore stop opening.
Private by default
Quizzes you create stay private until you choose to publish. Publishing is your call.
Real interest is visible
Every public quiz carries two numbers: views, which count each visitor once a day, and copies, which only go up when someone takes it into their own account. There are no stars and no scores given by anybody else.
No account to practice
You only need to sign up when an account gets you something, like saving or copying a quiz.

Frequently asked questions
Do I really not need an account?
Not to open a public quiz, answer it and see your score. You do need one to save, copy or create quizzes.
How do I find a specific topic?
Question text isn't searched: the box matches what you type against a quiz's title and description. Accents make no difference: typing matematicas finds Matemáticas. Up to two hundred quizzes arrive at once (the hundred most viewed and the hundred newest) and the filter runs in your browser, with no page reload.
How many public quizzes are there?
However many people have chosen to publish, and the list grows over time. It's a modest collection rather than a huge catalog: if your topic is missing, building your own takes a couple of minutes.
Who publishes them?
Anyone using CanQuiz who decides to make one of their quizzes public. They come from that person's material, not from an official question bank.
Are they reviewed?
There's no editorial review: every quiz comes from the material of whoever published it. Before you trust one, look at its views and how many times it has been duplicated. If something is wrong or shouldn't be public, every quiz has a report button that works without an account: the person who makes CanQuiz reads it and, if it comes to that, the quiz stops being public.
What about questions you answer by typing?
Short answers are first compared with the expected answer, and a missing accent or an extra article doesn't cost you the question. If it doesn't match, the AI checks whether what you wrote means the same. Both work without an account. Open questions are graded by the AI, and that needs you to sign in. None of this uses your account's included AI.
If I take it without an account, is my progress saved?
Half-finished answers are kept in your browser for seven days. With no account nothing is stored in CanQuiz and nothing counts toward your practice; if you later create an account in that same browser, what you did is uploaded so you don't lose it. It lives in that browser: on another device you start over.
How do I publish mine?
From the quiz you choose who can open it: only you, anyone with the link, or Explore on top of that. The link works immediately. To appear in Explore, the quiz first goes through an automatic review, and if you later change the title, the description or the questions, it leaves Explore until you publish it again.
Can I download a public quiz as a file?
Not from someone else's quiz: the download is in Library, for your own quizzes. Duplicate it and you can export it yourself, as .json, as CSV or as the text Anki imports. The .json carries the link to your copy only if you were already sharing it by link when you downloaded it.
Start by taking one
Open a public quiz, take the whole thing, and decide afterward. No account needed to try.
