What is spaced repetition?
A method that asks you again right before you forget. Every correct answer pushes the next sighting further out, every miss pulls it closer. CanQuiz uses the FSRS algorithm to work out those dates.
Do I have to create the cards?
No. Cards are derived from your quiz questions the first time you study the deck. There is no separate card editor.
Do I need an API key to review?
Only if you want the AI to grade written answers. Grading by hand with Again, Hard, Good and Easy works without a key.
What does AI grading cost?
It depends on the model and how long your answers are. Settings shows an estimate per 100 cards before you turn it on, and each session ends with the real cost.
Can I review outside the schedule?
Yes. Cram mode walks you through the deck whenever you like without touching the card schedule, which is handy the day before an exam.
Is it finished?
It is in beta. The algorithm, AI grading, daily limits and undo all work; the edges still need polish and things may change.
