Frequently asked questions
Are these questions from official exams?
No. CanQuiz has no bank of official questions: the AI writes them from the material you upload. If you have the PDF of a past exam, you can upload it like any other topic.
Should I upload the whole syllabus or one topic at a time?
One topic at a time. Each quiz comes out more thorough on a focused topic, and you can then combine several into one quiz to practice them together, like in the exam.
Which exams does it cover?
Any one you have the syllabus for: administration, health, education, justice, security and more. You bring the material and the AI generates the quizzes.
How much does it cost?
There is no subscription or paid plan. Each quiz the AI generates uses one of your 20 generations a month; practicing, reviewing and sharing use nothing.
What if I prepare many topics and run short?
You have two ways out. Ask ChatGPT for the quizzes with the CanQuiz plugin, which does not use your generations, or add your own Google, Anthropic or OpenAI key and generate without a limit, paying that usage to the provider.
What languages does it work in?
Ask for the quiz in English and it comes out in English, even if part of the syllabus reaches you in another language. Legal terms and proper nouns stay as the syllabus has them.
Can anyone see my quizzes?
No. They are private by default: nobody sees which topics you are preparing or how you are doing. Publishing them is a separate choice, and yours, which matters if the syllabus you upload is academy material.
